This is a special shoe in Onitsuka Tiger’s history as it was not originally found in any catalogues from the time of Tokyo 64. This mid-cut version was discovered in the archives of ASICS Research and Development Department in Kobe. The mid-cut feature was intended to support the ankle and was used as a training shoe for the Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump and Pole Vaulting Events. |
